Albinus was a son of John B Lambert, III and Susannah 'Hannah' Cassle/Cassell. He served in the Union side of the Civil War in Ohio. (Co. F, 11 Reg't Ohio Cav)03 Jun 1863

After the Civil War, Albinus married Susan Elizabeth Calhoun, a daughter of Eli Calhoun and Elizabeth Ann 'Betty Ann' Mullenax.
