Gustaf August Johannesson home in Adelöv, Sweden.
Gustaf August Johannesson home in Adelöv, Sweden.
If you from Örserum go eastward you come to Adelöv – you can see the sign + for the church. If you insted go south, you can find the Sötåsa-village at the Sötåsasjön – a small lake. (On the map, you also see Vireda – also with + …. And on the road towards Örserum again – Björkenäs.)
Probably it is interesting for you to see a picture of the house where Simon was born.
It´s from a book called Sveriges bebygg else (Houses in Sweden) and here you see the name of the owner – farmer Elfving Gustavsson, a brother of Simon, born 1887.
The house is built around 1850 and has got 2 rooms and 1 kitchen. At this time – 1956 – it was the oldest house in the village, and probably it was left here when the farm was divided in parts.
