Lancaster, Pa d. 1815 b. 1730-1733 Philip lived a while in Rowan Co., NC then to Augusta Co., VA (now Pendleton Co., WV) in 1760 with John Justus Henckel, Jr. Will dated 28 Sep 1813 proved 2 Jan 1816 lists Reuben and Moses as 2 youngest sons, Samuel as son, Sarah, Elizabeth and Esther as daughters. (will Book no.4 p. 3 Pendleton Co., WV)

Philip Teter acquired and disbursed adjoining lands as follows: 14 Jan 1791, Warrant # 10905 (State Warrants p. 56) 34 acres 2 Jan 1792, 120 acres by deed from Andrew Johnson, Book of Deeds #1, P. 170 26 Sep 1793, 95 acres surveyed by Moses Henkle 6 Mar 1797, 34 acres patented 9 Feb 1792 and 120 acres deeded to Samuel Teter (son?) Will book 4, p. 3,4. Excerpt: "Weak in body... Two youngest sons Rueben and Moses to divide land adjacent Abraham Henkle's land. Son Rueben to pay his 3 sisters Sara Helmick, Esther Teter, and Elizabeth Judy.
