Della was daughter of Calvin and Emily (Shreve) Kimble. In 1907 she married Alfred Vincent Kimble son of William Wesley Kimble and Savannah Bell (Alt) Kimble. children; Rosa Pearl, William Earl, Olie Franklin, Kennie Clyde, Violet.

On Friday evening, Oct. 5th, 1917, the death angel came and claimed Della Susan Kimble, the wife and mother from the home of A. V. Kimble, at Branch. Mrs Kimble is sadly missed, not only at her home, but by her neighbors and friends. She was a friend to everybody who know her. On Jan. 19, 1908, she was united in marriage to A. V. Kimble, since that time they lived a happy and prosperour life. To them were born five children, one of which preceded her to the grave about seven years ago. Mrs Kimble was in good health until about a week before her death. She had been complaining some some but not serious until the day before her death. Lock jaw took hold on her and all that willing hands and loving hearts could do was without avail. She said to her husband the day before her death, :The Lord has called me, I will have to leave you. It is sad to part, but I am ready". Remember friends if we can all be ready when we are called those left will not be left with a dissatisfied heart.
