Phyllis Henegar
July 8, 1925 - April 7, 2016

Phyllis Ann Henegar, 90, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Borger.

She was born in Onalaska, Wisconsin on July 8, 1925 to Rosco and Anna Mathilda (Bruner) Hohmann.

She came to Phillips, Texas after WW II as the bride of Glen Keller. They had 3 children, Mary, Michael and Mark. Mr. Keller preceded her in death in 1962. Later in life, she married R.N. "Bob" Henegar and spent 20 wonderful years with him until his death in 1994.

Mrs. Henegar was employed at Golden Plains Community Hospital as a Grey Lady and the hospital kitchen. She was also a volunteer at Helping Hands. She was a past Grand Master of the Rebekahs and a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Glen A. Keller and her second husband, R.N. "Bob" Henegar.

She is survived by a daughter Mary Trujillo of Fritch; 2 sons: Mark Keller of Fritch and Mike Keller of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren: Holly Poore of Amarillo, Heath Collmer of Germany, Salena and B.J. Elrod of Amarillo, Megan and Will Huff of Amarillo, Stefany and Danny Hunter of Borger and Micah Keller of Amarillo; 9 great grandchildren: Braxton and Camden Elrod, Paityn and Jayton Huff, Trace Murley, Levity, Saigunh and Cali Hunter and Michael Keller; and also many friends and neighbors.

Services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Borger. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa.

Mrs. Henegar will lie in state at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger on Monday from 8:00am-8:00pm.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 11 at Brown's from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
