  • Notes
    • Submitted by Bernice Koglin:

Attached you will find 2 diaries that my mother wrote which I had translated from Swedish. My mother's name was Ellen Josephine Anderson Johnson. She was born on March 21, 1894 in Arjang, Sweden and died February 8, 1976. "Emma" who is mentioned in her diaries was her sister. She was married to her husband Bror for 50 years. He died the night of their 50th anniversary celebration after calling 911 as Ellen suffered a stroke. Ellen died the following February after an operation for an aneurism of her aorta. She had two daughters, Bernice Ellen and Eunice Diane.
